The Inn at Merridun
We stayed at the Inn at Merridun in Union, SC the night of July 10, 2004 and met the owners (Peggy & J.D. the Cat). They report that 10 spirits or ghosts share residence here. The spirits include men, women, and children. Some guests have been joined in their beds by a spectral white dog.
During our investigation, I captured an orb in the upstairs hallway. You can see it floating just to the right side of the bird cage. In the downstairs hallway I took a picture of J,D, the cat; in the lower right-hand corner of the picture there is a small, white orb. Could this be the spirit of the little white dog?
After we went to bed, I left the camcorder running as usual in the Infrared mode. It does not appear that I captured any apparitions or voices, but I did capture what appears to be a ghostly orb streaking past the rocking chair.
