This old 2 bedroom house located just outside of Labelle, Florida is among one of the creepiest places I have had the pleasure of staying. Back in 1993 Dorshia and I rented this house for approximately six months or so. Almost every night that went by the sound of old 1930's or 1940's style music could be heard. Without neighbors immediately nearby and as secluded as the house is, the music could not be coming from any 'outside' source. One strange thing is when you are in the bedroom, you would think the music is coming from the small living room - when you are in the living room (according to Dan), the music sounds like it is coming from the hallway or one of the two bedrooms. The music is subtle; it is loud enough to be heard, but low as a faint whisper.
Dorshia and I also had a visual encounter here. While laying in bed in complete darkness with sheets covering the windows and doorway, a bluish-white orb appeared just below the ceiling. The encounter lasted only 1 or 2 seconds, but long enough to know something strange and unusual had just happened. The orb was no different than the many ghostly orbs we have caught on digital video in the recent years. This is the first and only "orb" I can honestly say I've seen with the naked eye, but I was not alone. Dorshia saw it too so I knew that my eyes where not playing tricks. Just so I could be sure, I had her describe to me exactly what she saw. The orb made a U-shaped motion disappearing back into the ceiling from which it had appeared to come.
One of the last things to happen was while I was away at work one night. Dorshia heard a man's voice yell something from the 2nd bedroom while she was alone in the living room. No Radio or TV was on at the time. What she heard sounded like a man yelling "Hey!". Perhaps, a ghost was trying to get her attention? Being alone in that spooky house, with no street lights around could sometimes be really unnerving.
