Georgie

It began in the opening of a storefront that I was a partner in. First off I can tell you that the town I live in was established in 1669. That makes for a lot of activity in the realm of the paranormal world. Anyway, while fixing up the store there were several occasions of having to go down into the basement. It had the typical hard packed dirt floor and by the way the bricks were laid and mortared, it was obviously an old building (verification from landlord, over 100 years old). There were a couple of times I was down there alone or with my partner and we both felt creepy. He shrugged it off, I tried to just avoid going down there. One time I did actually take a walk around and came upon not only a malevolent energy, but it caused nausea and vertigo whenever I went to the end of the basement where it was. It seemed to be in the ground, yet still able to seep upwards. Friends and I would go down to investigate and were all getting a negative feeling. Others sensed a guardian spirit (turned out to be mine, via 2 psychics describing separately the same 'angel'? Or, spirit guide perhaps. There began to be a lot of negative tension between my partner and myself and we seemed to change personality wise. Fighting all the time.

Before I left the partnership and before the problems began, a few of us would go to the local cemetery (PHC). We wanted to find out if it was haunted or whatever. At first it was just the energies we would feel from the markers, some being really cold, others being as warm as an electric blanket. The very first night 2 friends and I came in contact with 'Georgie'. We did not know his name until several visits later, from my neighbor downstairs who was told who he was. The first night the three of us were headed towards the back of the cemetery where I wanted to show them something I had seen during the day. However, the entity which resided in the thicket of trees above the pathway and then leading closer to the path would not let us pass. One friend went up a stone stairway leading into the trees to check it out, she could only as far as the immediate outer rim. She said there was definitely something there, but she could not go any further. She got a little creeped out and we told her to come back down. We did go back during the early evening and forced our way in. He seemed to be ok but cautious and curious and frustrated that we were not afraid of him. Every other time we came back, I could feel him watching us and waiting for us to come in. He never did anything to us, but my neighbor was rooted to his spot, he had goosebumps the size of Mt St.Hellen (on July 4th in Mass.) and was told that it's name was 'Georgie'.

I barged up the hill when I felt him in a spot outside the trees and my 2 friends followed. He backed up into the woods a bit. I then was surprised at my boldness, and got scared and ran back down.  My roommate was causing me a lot of grief and I summoned 'Georgie' to get her for me, but took it back a day or two later. Perhaps he is angry because I summoned him to do something and then changed my mind. (He really had some kind of attraction to her).  He and other spirits came to the apartment one night when I was alone. I had gone to bed, but had not gotten to sleep yet when I felt I wasn't alone. I opened my eyes and say about 8 - 15 whitish forms in my foyer and near where I was laying down. I recognized two by their energies, Georgie was one (about 30ish which was my original belief and verification from my neighbor.)

Now he seems to be getting angrier and his energies are not fun or exciting, just scary and creepy. A picture of my grandfather changed appearance before my eyes, the unusual coldness and feel sent me sleeping in the living room for a few days until I had the guts to go back in. Was ok for a few days......I have now moved into other bedroom, keeping other room closed except to get my clothes. I don't really expect moving to the other room will help, but it makes me sleep a little easier now. I want to continue visiting the PHC for research, NOT alone, but feel terrified at the same time. I don't know which one of me is going to win. I took some photos, haven't gotten them developed yet, hoping I can get something, even if it's my resident farmer ghost who is totally harmless, but I have heard that malevolent spirits can use the energies of other spirits to give it strength. 'Georgie' does feel much stronger than when first encountered. Also, I live only 3 short blocks from the back PHC where 'Georgie' resides. I went there outside the fence to take pictures, and used my camcorder, and then a few days later, the things began happening.

I realize this may seem odd, well maybe not, but it definitely happened and is happening.  I'm not Christian, so using a cross and holy water won't work with me.  And besides, if "Georgie' doesn't believe in it, it won't work either. Should I try to just try telling him that he can move on?
